James’ history with Indonesia dates back to the 1990's, when he lived and studied in Jakarta as a teenager. His professional network is exceptional.

Prior to establishing ProCapita Headhunter Indonesia in 2014, James worked for Korn/Ferry International, the world's largest retained only Executive Search Firm. He was based in Jakarta and worked as a Senior Indonesia Country Specialist.

Before this James worked for a leading regional Asia Pacific Headhunter Agency. He was based in Singapore and led Executive Search Recruitment for Investment Banking, Private Equity and Venture Capital across SE Asia and Hong Kong. A lot of his hiring was for Indonesia positions at the MD level down to the Associate level.

James commenced his career as an Investment Banker based in London. He worked for Barclays Bank as a Real Estate Acquisition & Development Financing specialist, leading the execution of corporate Real Estate loans between GBP 10 million – GBP 1 billion. He joined Barclays as part of their Graduate Leadership Programme.

James earnt a Double Degree in Law and Business, with Honors, from the University of Warwick, United Kingdom. In his spare time he loves to relax with his family, scuba dive and travel to new destinations.
